“LOVE OF A LIFETIME”

A love of a life time is a rare find.  My mother’s cousin has lost her husband. They married late in life. Theirs was a special bond of heart and soul connecting. Her loss is great.

Love that gives life to the other person, is a love of timeless value. When love like this is lost through separation or death, love of this kind leaves a hole.

Some loves intertwine as they weave soul to spirit in threads of delicate delight. Shared moments are like splashes of iridescent joy.

If one has known such love once in a lifetime, they know they have been exceedingly blessed with a treasure rare. True love comes softly.

We must enjoy the sweet moments as they come, our times of bliss with the love of our life. Celebrate the joys, and sorrows, as they unfold.

I have known such love once in my life. Our moment was cut short, like a breath sucked in then quickly let out. It changed me. Profoundly.

The ancient adage rings true: It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved.
