A Spiritual Metamorphosis CHANGES You

When we observe someone come out of their cocoon, it is like watching the petals of a flower unfurl, their inward beauty is lovely and radiant. It is a remarkable true-to-life awakening.

People gain confidence and self assurance during periods of personal growth. This may also occur in tandem with spiritual growth, the two enhancing each other.

Limitations fade into the background. However, some negative factors color self-perceptions. These are difficult to overcome yet it is possible, especially if the ‘want to’ is strong enough.

People who overcome find a surprising aspect to their changing self, they discover a new identity as they step forward into their newly-possible future, and the flower is displaying its beauty.

Shyness and awkwardness, pain and hurts, limitations and disabilities, problems and addictions are obstacles that may challenge this awakening, but they need not defeat the effort.

For me, anything that I have overcome, and there have been many, has come through many and varied intentional choices in combination with God’s love and divine intervening.

If you know someone on the cusp of emerging out of their cocoon, encourage them, compliment them, and tell them what you observe happening in their life. This is what they need to hear.

A hurting person’s metamorphosis into a stronger sense of self, health, and well-being will be anchored by any and all words of affirmation. People need to be affirmed and validated.
