What Jesus Did for Us

Jesus was white, and everyone else looked just like him except they all were covered in dirt. Different people were dirtier, blacker, or whatever. Then they all went and hugged Jesus. Jesus became dirtier than anyone; caked with filth. Everyone else became pure white as Jesus once was.  ~LaVonne

The sinless one became sin for us that we might be freed from enslavement to sin. Jesus Christ gave His everything that humankind might receive life eternal. His love conquered death that we could know life. How great a salvation.

My heart speaks praise to Christ, the One with love so great I can’t quite comprehend it. I praise You and worship You, my Lord and Savior, my Redeemer, Jesus Christ. I am in awe and I thank You from the depths of my being. To God be the glory and honor and praise forever. Amen.
