Words undeniably affect us. Whether they be spoken or read, words project thoughts that stimulate emotion, intelligence, perception, and reaction.

Through words we communicate ideas, plant seeds that will grow into movements, initiating change that will move a person, nation, or world.

Well spoken words speak of their own accord, with a quiet loudness that streams through the decades. “I have a dream…” “To be, or not to be…”

A writer will grapple with words until the right, perfect, exact word is employed. It can make all the difference. The phrase will sing.

“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver.” a proverb of Solomon.
