Practical implementation and application is essential for moving forward with God. It takes effort but it also takes quietness of soul. Resist the temptation to have devices on, they will interrupt the flow and hinder your ability to focus and relax.

PRACTICAL APPLICATION

Get alone with God. Invite God to join you. Be still with God and listen for Him.

1. Take spiritual inventory. Ask God to reveal to you your sins and areas of wrong thinking. Write them down.

2. Go Deeper. Ask God to reveal to you your hidden sins and where you need to forgive someone for an offense. Ask God where there are areas of inconsistency in your life. Give these to Him and ask for His help in changing you.

3. Take a look at your hurts and wounds.  Ask God to show you where you have acted to protect self as a form of damage control. Why did you do this? Confess your helplessness without Him.

4. Confess your known sins and also the newly revealed sins. Ask God to cleanse your heart with His forgiveness and love. Yield yourself to Him. Ask Him to help you forgive and let go of the desire for revenge. Write any new thoughts you would like to remember.

5. Request of God His healing touch. Ask Him to meet you in your present and past areas of pain, confusion, and disappointment. Ask for His peace to meet you. Write any new thoughts you would like to remember.
